- Finding Godly men like Pastor Danny are sadly so hard to find these days. So many churches replace pastors with ungodly worldly men, that come in and make the church “world” friendly. We’ve seen it and it’s heartbreaking to watch.
- The abundant pastors turn churches into entertainment centers.
- Ok, so pray. The church bylaws says the members get a final vote. Just pray the committee finds who God wants. Stressing over it wont help. What ifs and worrying about other churches never get you anywhere. Just pray, then put the answer God gives you into action.
Seeking a New Pastor
On Wednesday Night, August 24th, at 6:30pm, we will study about the search for a new pastor. This will be my last Wednesday Night Bible Study as Pastor of Northlake Baptist Church. The task of seeking for a new pastor has already begun. Northlake has appointed a Pastor Search Team and chosen a Transitional Interim Pastor – Dr. Jim Austin. When churches are seeking a New Pastor, Jesus encouraged us to “ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you(Mat 7:7). So I also encourage you to pray for the next pastor who will lead Northlake. Also, pray for the Pastor Search Team who has the responsibility of praying, reading, discerning, and sorting through many applications and applicants to find the next pastor for this church.
