Part of the fun (I mean this seriously) with Bowman Community Church is that it is a body made up of people from across the evangelical landscape, especially when it comes to eschatology. There are those who today are looking for the Rapture, while we have others who are fully convinced that Jesus will return only after the world is fully Christianized. Ironically, I believe that both of these extremes are sourced in the same wrong reading of the storyline of the Bible. Both of these extremely divergent views are stuck in the Old Testament. Typically the Postmill folks are theonomist and the Rapture folks don't believe that the promises to Israel are now fulfilled in the church that has been grafted into Israel. I always appreciate what Nick Batzig writes. Here he addresses the issue of Theonomy (theocracy). https://www.feedingonchrist.com/blog/post/the-shadow-of-the-ideal-?utm_source=pocket_saves
