We continue our 4-week exploration into the book of Hosea. Like a watchman blowing his horn to warn the city of an imminent threat, Hosea sounded the alarm to Israel that the Lord was coming to destroy them. He's pointed out the vanity of their false religion and self-made protection against threats. The people have allowed their relationship with the Lord to erode over time. It didn't happen overnight but each step led them closer to God's judgment.
