What is the syntax to search all the writings of Charles Spurgeon for references to Ephesians 1? I can search his sermons using the template below, but how do i expand this to all the works of Spurgeon? sermon:(creator:Spurgeon AND references:Ephesians)

Aaron, "Syntax Search" is a search type that is reserved for syntax searches in the Bible. So, technically speaking, your question does not belong to this group. However, I understand that you ask for the "search syntax" that will find you all places in Spurgeons writings where he refers to Eph 1. For that, you need to do the following (Logos 10): 1. In the search window, select Books search 2. One level further down, click 'All Books' and type: "author:spurgeon" (without quotes) 3. One level further down, type: "eph 1" (without quotes) and select the red bookmark label for Ephesians 1 from the drop down menu 4. Run the search

Thanks so much! this worked really well. I didn't realize those were additional filters at the top.
