This week the kids learned that God parted the Red Sea.
Summary
God led His people toward the Red Sea.
Pharaoh’s heart became hard again, and he decided to go recapture the Israelites.
Moses reminded the people that God would fight for them.
God parted the Red Sea for His people to cross, but He destroyed Pharaoh’s army in the sea when they followed.
Christ connection
Moses led the Israelites out of Egypt, and God provide a way for them to escape through the Red Sea. The Bible says that Jesus is greater than Moses (Hebrews 3:3). People who trust in Jesus escape the penalty of sin and have eternal life.
