When we have Jesus, we have the Light that leads to life!
I am reminded of a trip my family went on in Colorado. One of our stops was the Molly Kathleen Gold Mine where we descended 1000 feet in a little double decker metal cage that fit 7 people crammed like sardines in each cage. To say it was dark was an understatement. We couldn’t see in front of our noses. Suddenly our guide became everyone’s favorite person to be next to because he was the only one with a flash light and our only way out!
We should have such devotion to Jesus! Sometimes we don’t realize the darkness we are in spiritually and He IS our only way out.
The Pharisees again were challenging Jesus as to His claims but Jesus reminds them that the Father has indeed testified on His behalf, and not to mention, the Holy Spirit and John the Baptist as well. All it takes is two people to agree according to the law for their witness to be established as fact. There is power in agreement but that is another subject for another day 😊
Jesus also points out that the Pharisees judge according to human standards, but that He judges no one.
‘Human standards,’ as if that was all there is. What about spiritual, godly, heavenly standards? I would be more concerned about those.
