I'm having issues importing powerpoint files into proclaim on a mac. After I select the file and click "add" I get a red error message: "An unexpected error occurred while importing the specified document." and it ultimately fails. Also, in my general settings for proclaim I can't seem to deselect "import using keynote" to try a different way to import. Any ideas? Another factor, we use dropbox frequently and so sometimes these may not be local files.
- I'm back to resume troubleshooting this problem. Abdi Martinez Can you help? I've updated OS and software (Even un-installed proclaim and keynote). I still cannot get a powerpoint file to import successfully. Our other staff computers have no issues, just this machine is having problems.
- SOLVED!! This was due to an privacy/security setting on the mac. I know the final step was to allow proclaim access to keynote under the AUTOMATION window. Then we had to authorize Finder under proclaim. We also had to give full disk access. That may or may not have helped.

Oh... thanks for the guide. I already thought everything was lost. This issue has plagued me for a while, and it's been quite a roadblock for my project. The only thing that saved me was services such as https://edubirdie.com/powerpoint-presentations-writing-service which became an indispensable assistant for creating PowerPoint presentations. I'm hoping this guide will provide a solution to Proclaim problems and I can bring my plans to life!
