Hello Friends! Up to this point I have utilized Proclaim for producing the slides and video elements for projection during the wrship service. I have utilized the pre-service loop for projecting announcemnts, etc. I have no experience with the digital signage application in Proclaim. Where to start??? I suspect that making announcment slides is no differnt in the signage application.
I have just been appointed to a church that doesn't use video projection in the worship service so Procalim is an unkown thing to our trustees and techies. I need to make a presentation to the trustees on the digital signage aspects of Proclaim.
Since I am really more of a Proclaim user but not a tech guy, can someone please tell me where i can learn the necessary specs for wifi enabled monitors/flatscreens. How do they update wirelessly when scattered across the buildings? What sort of network signal is essential to avoid buffering and unsightly compatability glitches?
I am interested in learning more about proclaim with an outdoor digital sign / marquee .

Signage is easy. It works in proclaim like any other slide deck. to view the signage you just need a web browser. When you publish the sign feed, it creates a unique url for that feed. Copy that url into the display’s browser and it will show your sign feed. just be advised it may not work with all embedded web browsers. I found it stopped working with my old version and started working again once I updated it, it started working again. But not all devices (like smart tvs) will let you update the browser.- Hey !
