Regarding Lyric Scrolling:
The post about it on the "What's New" page states: 'Your congregation will see the upcoming line and never be left waiting for the next slide.'
I've created a new Song media element (because it didn't look great with our old style song element) and turned on "Lyric Scrolling" as the transition (our default is No Transitions but the idea of being able to see the upcoming line is making me rethink that for the songs.)
The upcoming line only displays on the Title Slide, not on the subsequent slides.
What am I doing wrong?
- Just my quick two cents Colin Cameron on the visual nature of your slides. I believe I've read somewhere that white text on black is easier on your eyes to read. So, if you have congregants with troubles that might be a solution worth testing if you haven't already.
- Thanks Jay. We have tried that as well. Our projector is show it's age, is located unfortunately where there's a fair amount of natural light coming into the building, and is projecting onto a white wall, not a screen. All of that causes the reverse (black background with white text) to not look great. We did try to use the Proclaim Remote on tablets (using the confidence monitor setting) and the people didn't want to hold onto a tablet for that long. As we just merged two congregations into one, our tech equipment is up for review (along with a list of other stuff.) We may try the black background with white text once we deal with two of the three issues.
- the next line doesnt show on the slide if your lyric has 4 lines. if it has 3, then the next line shows. It still scrolls though
