Will Meachum in Proclaim

New laptop question. We use Proclaim through multiple laptops in multiple rooms and setups. Our worship setup has been to use an HDMI splitter out to 3 60 inch TV's. In other rooms we use a laptop and either a single HDTV or an HD projector. In our worship space, we were using a 2019 basic Dell laptop with integrated onboard graphics. But that computer died, and we replaced it with a higher end Lenovo laptop with a dedicated 4050 graphics card in it. I also have a work laptop with a 3060 graphics card in it. They are both new within the last year. I've updated drivers, bios and everything else. The problem I'm facing is that when I use either laptop in any of non-worship space rooms, Proclaim projects a full screen, 16:9 image as a secondary output. But unlike my older (now dead) laptop, when we plug into our 3 screen sanctuary display, Proclaim outputs to a 4:3 image, and there are unwanted black space at the top and bottom of the screen, which shrinks our text and makes it harder to read. The desktop image for both computers fills all 3 of those tv screens. It is only when we start the show that Proclaim auto chooses the wrong display size. I've tried going into the displays and switching it, but the 4:3 option is grayed out and can't be changed. Has anyone else dealt with this? It does it with both of our newer laptops and only through the 3 TV array. Please help.

Will Meachum At OMS Japanese Christian, we've two SAMSUNG® 72" LED-LCDs on the Shinoda Hall north wall. I've a long-term goal of separating the feeds for both, using a Workstation-grade 'puter I've already spec'd out. The left 72" I'll drive off Slides; the right 72", off Alternate Content (the only way I'll separate two syntaxes requiring completely different approaches — English has the Latin layout of descending rows, but Japanese has the Chinese layout of left-shifting columns). Also a TelePrompTer® array off Confidence. The Notes displays integrated into new pulpits I'll have to divert to a USB 3.0 VDA off the intel® W790 Workstation planar.

This didn't help. My issue is that because I use an hdmi splitter, my secondary output only shows up as one individual extended screen instead of 3. So Proclaim won't let me play around with each individual TV to change the output settings. The aspect ratio is not click able. I've attached some screenshots that maybe help describe my issue. When I'm on the desktop of the computer, it displays full screen on all three outputs. But when I go on air, it shrinks the image and puts a bar at the top and bottom. Our old laptop didn't do that but two new ones we have does do that on both.

Hi Will. In your Windows settings, for the external display ensure the scale is 100%, and set the display resolution to something that is 16:9 (1920x1080 or 1280x720 for instance). Then in Proclaim display settings click the gear icon to the right of HDMI TV. You should then be able to click on the 4:3 below HDMI TV and change that to 16:9.
