Looking to try and figure out doing lyrics at the bottom of the live stream (like 2 long lines at the bottem of the screen), so it takes up less space and is less intrusive. We use Proclaim and OBS. Anyone know how to do this? Attached is how we currently do our music lyrics
- NDI

Ah ok. So since you are using an NDI source... inside that virtual screen in proclaim you are able to manipulate everything in there separate from the main screen. For our sermon we have the full screen for the main screen but for OBS I created a lower thirds section that displays at the same time. See this picture. Same background and text as the main slide but cropped differently and shaped to taste. The main thing is keeping the background transparent so that the overlay doesn't cover up your cameras. This is also a good support article that can help! https://support.faithlife.com/hc/en-us/articles/360042490051-How-to-Live-Stream-with-Proclaim- Some of that link is helpful, Paul Parmley, and since you are already using NDI and OBS it shouldn't be too difficult to get it going for you. What you need to do is go to Settings>Display and Click Add virtual screen. In my screenshot you can see that I've added one called Lower Thirds. Once you have done that, you will see that it now shows at the top (second screenshot). Click that tab and you will see that it is mirroring the main slide content. Click remove background, then make sure the foreground is at the bottom, this would be the lyrics, or Scripture verses, or even your pastor's notes. You can then format the text to be at the bottom and also to have a bit of background shape to make the text more visible. One caveat is that your computer had better pretty powerful to handle 2 NDI outputs. In OBS we use display capture for any slides and NDI for the lower thirds. Layer the lower thirds over the camera input in OBS and you have it.
