Is it possible to do a one third / two thirds vertical split for the live stream so that people at home can see a slide (2/3) and the person talking about it (1/3)?. We can do that for a bible text but not for image sldes. Many thanks
- Are you using Proclaim to stream, . I believe it is possible as long as your slides are formatted in portrait, for instance. You set up the slide with a transparent background and place your portrait formatted slide on the left and the video feed will show behind it. You can also use 16:9 slides, you just have to insert them as a foreground image and set them to the size that works best (2nd screenshot). Unfortunately the drawback is that this smaller slide is what the in house congregation sees. I believe that, currently, the only way to have full screen slides in house and your desired result would be to use an outside app like OBS. My second screenshot was actually a screenshot from our live stream placed as a background in Proclaim and I placed the Palm Sunday slide as a foreground image in order to approximate what I think you are looking to achieve.
- Thanks, we use OBS so will try that
- If you can have another display output from Proclaim into OBS in addition to the one the congregation sees, you can have an alternate slide that takes the text from the congregation's view and positions it differently to use as an overlay in OBS or external video switcher. Just keep in mind that if you alter the text input box of any alternate display, it no longer syncs with the main slide. There is a "Restore text" option that lights up just above the text input box to reset this. The green you see is made clear by the video switcher so the rest sits on top of the camera feed.
