I have the Logos 10 Full Feature Upgrade, but I am still not seeing the option to import sermons. It's not near the export button, and it isn't in the three dot drop down menu either.
- I answered my own question- import is only available from the Sermon Manager and not from the sermon builder. This should be changed so that from either toolbar sermons can be imported. If you create sermon placeholders to plan out your year and see it at a glance, you very well might have a sermon you have preached elsewhere, and want to utilize it in logos. It would be such a simple thing to click on the sermon you have already created, and just import an old sermon instead of having to delete it, go back to sermon manager and then import. This way you don't need to redo all of the details you've already input such as tags, topics, dates, series, etc.
- hi Patrick Dewhurst, thanks for the feedback! it sounds like you would expect the import to replace any and all content in the opened sermon document with the content from your imported sermon, but would you expect it to retain any tagging or sermon metadata you already added to the 'sermon info' panel in advance?
- Yes. You already have this function in another area. When you use a template, Logos asks if you want to use the template for the body, or for body and info together. This same pop up could be integrated when importing. That way you would have the option to keep all tagging and metadata, or import fresh.
