, Proclaim limits the upload size to 600MB. There are a couple of ways around that: 1 -- Upload the from the Presentation computer. Check the box that says "Use on this computer only" It will play fine during the presentation, but won't be available on any other computers. If you work remotely, you will have to put your video on a flash drive and then transfer the video from the flash drive to the presentation computer. 2 -- Use a program like Handbrake.fr to compress the video. Handbrake has a bit of a learning curve, but once you get the hang of it you can compress the size. The main caveat with Handbrake is that you don't want to compress the video too much. For instance a 800MB video can be compressed to the high 500s and not lose much in quality, but anything much larger will not look very well. Trial and error will help you get there with this. 3 -- Use a video editing program to break up your video into shorter segments. You would then place your videos into two or more consecutive Video service items. Make sure to check "Automatically advance to the next slide." There are free editing programs available (I use Davinci Resolve) but the renders it outputs of a video segment are often as large as the original full video, so there is a bit of a learning curve. Trial and error will help you learn this also. Option one is the easiest, but sometimes time is an issue, or you may be out of town and working remotely. Options two and three are good skills to have in your back pocket.
    HandBrake: Open Source Video Transcoder
HandBrake is an open-source, GPL-licensed, multiplatform, multithreaded video transcoder.
