Good morning, can anyone tell me if I can "remotely" broadcast live stream thru Proclaim?
I am wanting to help a Church by "live streaming" my sermons thru Proclaim, is that possible.
- We have been using Proclaim for several years, but I have had to re-locate and am trying to help by continuing to teach, remotely. Most of my experience is basically utilizing Proclaim like a typical "Power Point" presentation. I am sure it is more powerful than that. So I would like to "Live Stream" from my location to the Church on Sunday's and Wednesday nights, until such time as the Church finds a different solution. The Church is in a very rural community, but has good solid fiber internet. I am sure it can be done, I just do not have the knowledge to set it up, so any help would be awesome.
- Hi . The people at Faithlife (Proclaim) toyed around with a streaming platform, I believe that it was abandoned. That being said, you can stream your sermons for free if you stream to YouTube. The streaming software OBS is also free. Here is an article that the people at Faithlife have published: https://support.proclaim.logos.com/hc/en-us/articles/19864484519437-Use-Proclaim-and-OBS-to-Livestream-to-YouTube YouTube takes a bit of setting up, if I recall correctly you have to first set up an account and post at least one video. Once you have streaming set there (YouTube will provide the settings you need), then you need to set up OBS. In settings on the Stream tab you will enter the information that YouTube provided. In OBS you can set up "Scenes" where the current Proclaim slide is visible, or your camera view AND that Proclaim slide. There is a lot of info on the web about how to set all this up, but if you have specific questions ask those here, there are many users that stream using Proclaim and OBS. I hope this helps.
