- The Bible doesn't have a verse that specifically says that, but every verse in Scripture that describes people in heaven or even in hell are known and recognized by those who knew them, even when they are seen in this world. For example, the disciples knew that it was Moses and Elijah who appeared with Christ on the Mount of Transfiguration. They also knew Christ after the Resurrection, though at times Christ temporarily did not allow them to recognize Him at first. There is no indication or reason given in Scripture to think we won't know each other. It says we will be like Him in our glorified bodies that will last forever, but we are still who we are as a person (e.g., 1 Corinthians 15). And if anything, we will see each other more clearly without the foggy lens and filter on our eyes by a sinful condition (e.g., 1 Corinthians 13:12). I hope that helps.
