It appears I have lost the ability to control video playback in "Preview" mode. We use lyric videos for our small group and I used to be able to go the end of a video in preview so I could quickly check how one song flowed into another. Can't do it anymore. Now I have to listen to the entire song. Guessing this was something that happened with the last update? I'm on a Mac (currently still on Sonoma)
- I have the controls on items that are added as type 'Video'. I do not have the controls on 'Videos' that are added as backgrounds to 'Song' items. Logos should do away with 'Video' items and allow us full editing of videos used as backgrounds to either 'Song' or 'Content' items.
- weird. things are working fine for me again. No clue why it wasn't yesterday. And we actually use the video items. We play videos during service at times and use lyric videos for small groups. So I wouldn't want to lose the video items and be forced to enter content. That already drives me nuts on the rare occasion we want to play an mp3 through proclaim (I always have to look up how to do it because I can't just add an mp3, but have to add a content item and then add sound to it).
- My point j.dietz is that it is only one step more to add a video to the background of a content item. Once that is done, given that the video controls were transferred from the 'Video' then what one has in the presentation is so much more flexible. Have you ever tried putting an overlay on a video item or transferring one into a song item?
