In Psalm 107:10–16, the psalmist recounts how rebellious captives, sitting in darkness and shackled by affliction, cried out to the Lord, who delivered them from their bonds and moved them to praise His steadfast love. Because God still breaks the deepest spiritual chains of those who humbly cry out to Him, we too must respond with heartfelt praise and gratitude.
