I love what you guys are doing with the app, and I have some pointers I would like to share and ask if this can be implemented. As seen on the subject line, I do know that when using the remote app, you can use the On-screen bible app under quick screens to send a bible reference; however, it's not as user-friendly. Let me break it down for you:
If a user would like to go to change to a different passage (Eg. Psalm 1 but loads up Psalms 1:1-2 ) each time, they would have to manually put in that reference each time, whereas if you have added the bible item in the main body of the presentation and put in Psalm 1 it will load up the whole chapter.
For speakers (especially elderly people) this will not work. They need to be able to choose the scripture and tap to the next reference when reading.
To fix this would seems to be able to add the bible items in the quick screen instead of the on-screen bible.
Also what we do in our production we create a app to use your api calls and also use pyautogui to input the bible references in using a tablet or a phone.
We did this because it is not user-friendly and too slow to manually type the bible reference.
It would be nice to implement this (please see an image of the app).
Adding Bible buttons in your remote app would be a game-changer for you guys.
