I rated “The Gospel of John” 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Video placeholder
The Gospel of John
The LUMO version of The Gospel of John is a word-for-word portrayal of the biblical text. This profound film sheds new light on one of history's most sacred texts. Beautifully shot and informed by the latest theological, historical, and archeological research, this film is something to be enjoyed and treasured.

To each their own. Who is to judge? A cherry stands alone but put it on top of a banana split and satisfaction is guaranteed! Thank You Lord for making us all different and capable of weeding through the Scriptures in whatever form they are presented. Amen?

The problem lies in the medium being used. for thousands of years people read accounts of everything from the Bible to special events and even current events, then film came along and everything changed. Whenever we read something we process what we read through the logic center in our brains, but not with film/video. Film/ video bypasses the logic center of our brains and goes straight to our imaginations where it is accepted as 'true'. The more videos the more 'truth' is accepted into our imaginations until our imaginations actually color our perception of what is truth. For example try remembering what the video showed about the Gospel and compare it with the written Gospel of John. What no magi, no manger scene, no children out at night to see the baby who in the written Gospel of John is described as a young child? The video has absolutely nothing to do with the Gospel of John but is instead an advertisement for "The Chosen".
