In this message, Chaplain Grilley Mitchell illustrates, from his history, the consequences of hiding your struggle with sin and the benefits of bringing them into the light. Hidden sins are those that you not only hide from the world, but also from God. At least you think you are hiding them from God by not praying for help in overcoming them. At the very least, you must take it to God. Confess to him and ask for forgiveness and strength. We would encourage you to also find a good brother or sister in Christ as an accountability partner. Partner being the major point. If you can’t find one or don’t have the courage, ask God for those too. Psalm 139:23–24; Ephesians 4:31–32; Psalms 69:5
