Karla Kluesner in Proclaim
A month ago — Edited

Not sure if something changed in Proclaim or a Mac setting but when On Air, I would occasionally toggle to Safari to look something up like lyrics in planning center- Proclaim would stay On Air (no disruption to projected slide) but now Proclaim goes off air and the projection displays our church logo/desktop when I pull up Safari. I have to go back into Proclaim to continue the On Air program projection. Is there something I can change so that Proclaim stays On Air (like it always did before) when I do a search in another program like Safari? Also discovered going to Background to change a background in edit also takes the projection off line.

Karla Kluesner you might have a setting for Mission Control/spaces that is affecting Proclaim. When you go on air, Proclaim opens a fullscreen windows in a new 'space'. You might want to turn this setting off. This is in System settings > Desktop & Dock

Everything was working normally this week and I didn’t change anything so who knows what caused the problem but I’m thankful everything is back to normal. Thanks everyone for your replies.

For anyone who might face the same problem, I did discover when the Proclaim window was full screen the problem occurred again. Guess it was just something we've never really paid attention to in the past but now I know what caused the problem.
