When I click on my content, instead of seeing my text, all I see is a foreground image, which is only on 1 slide, covering every slide in the show. Not that way in preview, just edit mode.

  1. It's happening on multiple machines. Its basically making the foreground image cover everything else and act like a background

  2. so I see the problem, the foreground images are selecting "Show on all slides" automatically. If I uncheck that, it works, but when I leave the presentation and come back in, its re-selected.
