Faith Baptist Church-Belle Valley, OH in Proclaim
16 days ago

When I create my presentations for Sunday at my home computer and sync them, some of my slides don't show up on the computer at church. They show up as black slides. They look fine on my home computer, but then they don't carry over there. Is there something I am doing wrong when I add them? How can I fix it?

Great advice across the board! I always stay away from the "only on my computer" image box. I have found that the JPEG images for backgrounds that need to be imported into the Proclaim program have to be handled differently....once they are IMPORTED, I have applied them as "Smart Media". This takes a lot more time, but it is my only workaround. I think our computer at the church may be older, and this may be part of the issue. It's just more convenient to create the service content at my home rather than going to the church.

Can you see the images in the "Group Upload" file on the church computer? As long as you aren't clicking on the "only on my computer" they should upload at the other computer, but, it doesn take some time for the images to download from the cloud to that church computer. Start it up early and click the green arrow in the upper right corner to force a sync. I have proclaim on four different computers and have no problem with it syncing up on the church computer, as long as i make sure to allow sync time.

Faith Baptist Church-Belle Valley, OH how were you adding these images first, when you were experiencing the problem? It should 'just work' and you should only need to ensure you have a green sync check before closing the app.
