As we enter the Christmas season, we turn our attention to two lesser-known yet significant witnesses to the salvation announced through the birth of Jesus Christ. In this message we consider the testimony of Anna, a prophetess whose brief appearance in Luke’s Gospel carries remarkable weight. Though only a few verses are devoted to her, the power of her witness is found in the faithful life she lived leading up to that moment.
