December 17 - "The Joy of Salvation"
Scripture: "Rejoice in the Lord, ye righteous; and give
thanks at the remembrance of his holiness." — Psalm 97:12 (KJV)
Salvation is the greatest gift we have received, and it is a cause for
great joy. When we remember what Christ has done for us—laying down His life
for our sins—we cannot help but rejoice. This joy is not fleeting; it is rooted
in the eternal truth that we are saved by grace through faith.
Let us take time today to reflect on the joy of our salvation and to
share that joy with others.
Prayer:
Lord, we rejoice in the gift of salvation. Thank You for the joy that comes
from knowing we are saved by Your grace. Help us to live with a heart full of
gratitude and to share this joy with those around us. In Jesus' name, Amen.
