• December 22 - "A Heart of Service" Scripture: "Whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister; and whosoever will be chiefest, let him be your servant." — Matthew 20:26-27 (KJV) Jesus taught that true greatness in His kingdom is measured by how we serve others. We are called to follow His example of humility and sacrificial love, putting the needs of others before our own. A heart of service is one that reflects the heart of Christ, who came not to be served but to serve. This Advent season, let us embrace a heart of service, seeking out opportunities to bless others and show the love of Christ through our actions. Prayer: Lord, give us a heart of service, just as You served us. Help us to put others before ourselves and to serve with humility and love. May our lives reflect Your selfless love. December 21 - "Resting in God’s Care" Scripture: "Cast all your care upon him; for he careth for you." — 1 Peter 5:7 (KJV) In times of worry and anxiety, we are reminded to cast our cares upon the Lord. He is not distant or indifferent to our struggles; He cares for us deeply. Whatever burdens we carry, we can trust that God is there to help us bear them. His care for us is constant, and His love never fails. This season, let us surrender our worries and trust in God’s care. We do not have to carry the weight of our burdens alone—God is with us, ready to give us rest and peace. Prayer: Lord, we cast all our cares upon You today, knowing that You care for us. December 20 - "God’s Peace in Our Hearts" Scripture: "Let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful." — Colossians 3:15 (KJV) God’s peace is not just a feeling but a ruling force in our hearts. It is the peace that comes from knowing we are loved and cared for by our Heavenly Father. This peace transcends all understanding and guards our hearts and minds. As we live in this peace, we are called to share it with others, being a source of peace in a troubled world. Let us allow God’s peace to rule in our hearts today, bringing calm to our souls and helping us to be a source of peace to those around us. Prayer: Father, we invite Your peace to rule in our hearts today. Help us to be vessels of peace in this world and to share Your peace with others. December 19 - "Living in the Light of Christ" Scripture: "But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light." — 1 Peter 2:9 (KJV) As followers of Christ, we have been called out of darkness and into His marvelous light. This light is not just for us to enjoy but is to be shared with the world. We are a chosen people, set apart to show forth the praises of Him who has called us. Our lives are meant to reflect the glory of God, drawing others into His light. Let this season remind us of the incredible privilege we have to be ambassadors of Christ’s light. May our words and actions be a testimony to His transforming power. Prayer: Lord, thank You for calling us out of darkness into Your marvelous light. We are saved not by anything we have done, but by His grace alone. It is a gift freely given, not earned, and it brings us into a restored relationship with God. As we move through this Advent season, let us remember that our salvation is a direct result of God’s amazing grace, and let that truth inspire a life of gratitude and obedience. Grace transforms us—it teaches us to forgive, to love, and to serve. Let us be mindful of how grace has impacted our lives and seek to extend that same grace to others. Prayer: Father, we thank You for the gift of grace that saves us and transforms us. Help us to live with a heart of gratitude and to extend grace to those around us. This joy is not fleeting; it is rooted in the eternal truth that we are saved by grace through faith. Let us take time today to reflect on the joy of our salvation and to share that joy with others. Prayer: Lord, we rejoice in the gift of salvation. Thank You for the joy that comes from knowing we are saved by Your grace. December 16 - "Trusting in God’s Timing" Scripture: "To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven." — Ecclesiastes 3:1 (KJV) God’s timing is perfect, even when it does not align with our own. We may feel impatient or uncertain, but we can trust that God knows exactly when to act. His timing is not bound by our limited understanding, and His purposes are always good. This Advent season, let us trust in God’s perfect timing, knowing that He is working everything for His glory and our good. Prayer: Lord, help us to trust in Your timing.                 1. December 15 - "God’s Faithfulness" Scripture: "Great is thy faithfulness." — Lamentations 3:23 (KJV) God’s faithfulness is one of His most profound attributes. No matter what we face in life, we can always rely on His faithfulness. He keeps His promises, never fails us, and is steadfast in His love. This Advent season, we remember the faithfulness of God, who has come to us in Christ and will continue to be with us forever. As we reflect on His faithfulness, let us commit to being faithful to Him in return, trusting that He will continue to lead and provide. Prayer: Father, thank You for Your great faithfulness.
