December 24 - "The Gift of Christ"
Scripture: "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is
given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be
called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The
Prince of Peace." — Isaiah 9:6 (KJV)
Tonight, we celebrate the greatest gift ever given—the gift of Jesus
Christ. He came to bring us salvation, peace, and eternal life. His birth marks
the beginning of God’s great plan for redemption, and in Him, we find hope,
joy, and love. As we reflect on the birth of Christ, let us be reminded of the
incredible sacrifice He made for us.
This Christmas Eve, let us give thanks for the gift of Christ and
remember the true meaning of the season—God’s love made manifest in a baby born
in Bethlehem.
Prayer:
Lord, we thank You for the gift of Jesus, our Savior. Help us to remember His
birth and the incredible love You showed in sending Him. May our hearts be
filled with gratitude and joy as we celebrate Your gift to the world. In Jesus'
name, Amen.
