Just got a call from my mom. My grandma is in the active stages of dying and will probably pass in the next few days. She's been on hospice for a couple of months. My mom was supposed to fly out next Wednesday to see her, but it will most likely be too late. Prayers are appreciated for the family and for my grandma to pass peacefully.
- Grandma passed away peacefully around 2am. My aunt Joanne was with her (several aunts and uncles were staying at the house so that Grandma was never alone). We were able to take Kirsten to see her last night. We did a video call with my mom in Florida so she could see her mom and siblings. We all sang Amazing Grace together in Grandma's room. There will be a memorial service in April with our large family. Grandma had 13 kids. And counting grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great, great grandchildren, there are 74 of us! Thank you all for your love and prayers.
