I would like to see the following improvements to the Proclaim Media module. (Note: I attempted to make this suggestion on the Logos Community site for Proclaim "New Idea" however it would not let me submit my post - I received an error message that I need to use at least 1 Tag - even though I had used 4 Tags!! So there is a bug in submission form) 1. Add the ability to sort the imported media items alphabetically by their name for both Group Upload and any Boards. 2. Add the ability to select multiple imported items in Group Upload and sort just that selected group alphabetically by their names. When I import multiple PowerPoint slides into the Media (as images), they never come in by the correct slide order, they are all in random order. If I am trying to create an Image Slideshow with them, I have to add each slide individually to the slideshow to make sure I have them in the correct order because Proclaim does not import them in order by slide number. This is very time consuming especially when I have over 30 slides to do. 3. Add the ability to not permanently delete media from Media Boards if the item is deleted from Group Upload. If I import an item and add it to a Board that I have created and want to save it for repeated use, I also have to leave it in Group Upload, otherwise if I delete it from the Group Upload, it will also delete it from the Board I have added it to. What's the point in having Boards if my items get deleted from it automatically when deleting it from Group Upload? Better yet, we should be able to MOVE the item from Group Upload to any Board to completely take it out of Group Upload and keep it there until it is deleted directly in the Board. The Group Upload gets overwhelmingly cluttered with imports very quickly to the point where things have to be deleted to maintain it. Why can't we move the media we use frequently to a Board and get it out of Group Upload to keep the clutter at a minimum?

  1. You can do number one today: In the main toolbar of the browser, click into list view, and then click the title header. This was released back in February For number two, how are you importing them? Are you using our import option under add item, or are you exporting as images and bringing them in yourself? For number 3.. yes, Group Upload is the source, so that's where they truly live.. Its not really a board even though we put it there... All other boards are essentially glorified tags, and so that's why you can freely add and remove items from boards, but Group Upload deletes it for reals.. Thank-you for the feedback though, we will consider it for future improvements! I also reported your suggestion bug to the Community team. Thanks for the feedback
