John Schilling in Proclaim

We had always been able to send Lower Thirds to our live stream. Recently we have been experiencing such large delays in the Lower Thirds updating in the live stream that it has become unusable. However, if I display the main content in an overlay the updates are timely. As you can see in the attached image the text is different in the program view (Content) vs the preview view (Lower Thirds.) We're running Proclaim and OBS on separate HP Victus Gaming laptops connected through a gigabit switch. The proclaim laptop has two external monitors (front of house and conficence) and two virtual NDI monitors, one sending the main content and the other sending lower thirds. The OBS laptop is not driving any external monitors but has two NDI PTZ camera input devices, receives NDI input sources from Proclaim, and encodes and sends the live stream to Youtube. I don't know if the root of the problem is in Proclaim, OBS, hardware, or topology. Any troubleshooting advice or solutions would be greatly appreciated. John

I think a first step, is in Proclaim, go to preview and enable the your main content and your lower thirds screens, so you can see both. And then navigate the presentation. They should be in sync Next step would be to open an NDI receiver on your local laptop, and see if it's in sync with Proclaim. To try and rule out network lag. And then possibly stopping the main NDI feed and see if the lag is gone when just sending the lower thirds. Hopefully a combination of the above will help narrow down where the issue lies.
