- There are several people called Jacob in the bible, thus the query can't resolve "person:Jacob". If you type that part slowly, you will get suggestions, leading to person:"Jacob (Son of Isaac)" NEAR wife as the syntactically correct query. Looking into the results I feel that a few too many mentionings of just Israel - especially in the term "God of Israel" - have been tagged with that person-identifier, but it does work.
