We are having a problem with iSing Worship instrumental music videos with lyrics. They have been downloaded to the presentation computer and then imported into the Proclaim program. We always place a blank slide between our worship slides to add some transition. We are temporarily using these worship slides and last week the first two of three worked fine but the third one had a sound click like it was starting to play and then stopped. When that happened no audio attached to slides would work and we had to turn the computer off and restart it. During practice for this next Sunday, the same thing happened with different song slides. However, we tried going through the song slides starting with the end of the service and moving through the slides and we made it through 3 song slides in a row and then the fourth one hung up and knocked out the audio again. I have played the slides successfully on my MAC at home and they have played okay on another PC laptop so it seems it could be a problem with the local presentation computer and some incompatibility with software.
- Sorry, but I have some more questions: Can you tell from the log files anything about the worship song videos we used and if there is something about them that is incompatible with Proclaim. It seems that we have had more issues in the last few weeks when we started using those worship videos. If you need the website and source of those videos, I will have to get that to you.
- Maurice, thank you for your information but we have been able to play the program on other computers that have Windows 7 with no problem with the videos. We have shown other videos in the past without problem. The difficulties (which is looks like other people have also had with videos) started when we began using worship song videos with instrumental music and lyrics and motion backgrounds. Why will Proclaim work effectively on another Windows 7 computer but not on our Presentation computer.
- Hi Debbie, I have tried using iSing Worship before and discontinued it because of problems. I think my issues were different from yours, so this info may not be relevant. We experienced intermittent choppy audio which defeated the purpose of having iSing. However, we were streaming the iSing data from an iPad to our sound computer, and I assumed it was this wireless connection that was our problem. You said you loaded the iSing songs into your presentation computer, therefore it wouldn't be the same issue as ours. I have a couple of questions though. 1. Can you successfully use any other videos on your presentation computer (or is the problem only with iSing videos)? 2. How did you load the iSing data into your presentation computer?
