• God provided a beautiful evening for Lance Ta's baptism. Over 20 people gathered along the shoreline of the Chesapeake Bay. The water was placid, warm and clear. The sky was glorious. Lance shared a heartfelt testimony of how the Holy Spirit called him to saving faith in Jesus Christ. We all rejoiced and praised our God and Savior together. It was a special evening.
    1. Sorry I wasn't able to be there Lance. Praise God for the awesome weather and your public profession of faith!
    2. Sorry I was unable to be there.
  • Lance Ta is excited about his baptism tomorrow evening at 6:30 pm at the Cedar Cove Beach and he hopes you will share this special evening with him. Kim has cake, veggies, cheese, crackers, chicken spread, dip, and meatballs. Along with a fall apple punch to celebrate together. See you tomorrow evening!
    1. Please send a pin or address for the beach entrance. It doesn’t come up in any map app. Thanks!
    2. Looking forward to it! Is it Long Ln and then left on the road before Surfside Dr?
    3. Take Route 235 South. Turn left onto Forrest Park Road (Sunoco Station at intersection). Turn right onto Long Lane (Cedar Cove Community). Turn left into beach , just before Surfside Drive. https://amber-embed.faithlife.com/shares/wlvwpOAI4nOostXw

Join us for worship on Sunday, October 2nd, in person or Facebook online at 10:00am. Pastor Larry Crabtree will continue his sermon series: The Gospel of John, That You Might Believe. His message title is, "The Senator's Son Saved" from John 4:43-54. We will also celebrate Communion as a part of the worship service.
    1. Reminder: Lance Ta will be baptized this Tuesday evening (September 27th) at 6:30 PM at the Cedar Cove Community Beach. Please be prompt as I will need to allow you gate entrance into the beach. A brief time of worship, testimony and baptism will take place and then we will enjoy a time of fellowship and refreshments at the Crabtree home (very near the beach). Looking forward to being with you on Tuesday evening.
      1. Beginning Sunday, October 2nd, the church will share a potluck meal following the worship service. This would be the precedent to have a potluck meal the first Sunday of each month. This is somewhat informal, no signups. Please bring a main dish and a dessert or other side to go with your main dish.

Hello SAYSF! We are signed up for church league volleyball! It's the B league so it's semi-competitive and you must be in at least 6th grade to play. I don't have a schedule yet but hope to soon. Games are week nights between 6 and 10pm at a few local churches. You don't have to make it to every game so don't let the times or lack of schedule keep you from reaching out. It will probably be open to friends but I want to make sure any members that want to get to play. Please contact me if you are interested in playing!
