Join us for worship on Sunday, May 29th, in person or Facebook online at 10:00am. Pastor Larry Crabtree will continue his new sermon series: The Gospel of John, That You Might Believe. His message title is, "John's Gospel Overture," from John 1:1-18. We will also celebrate Communion as a part of the worship service. - Here is a beautiful prayer written by one of the earliest Church historians. Perfectly suited for the trials our Church is enduring right now. Prayer of Eusebius (3rd century bishop, known as the “Father of Ecclesiastical History) May I be no man’s enemy, and may I be the friend of that which is eternal and abides. May I never quarrel with those nearest me: and if I do, may I be reconciled quickly. May I love, seek, and attain only that which is good. May I wish for all men’s happiness and envy none. May I never rejoice in the ill-fortune of one who has wronged me. When I have done or said what is wrong, may I never wait for the rebuke of others, but always rebuke myself until I make amends. May I win no victory that harms either me or my opponent. May I reconcile friends who are angry with one another. May I never fail a friend who is in danger. When visiting those in grief may I be able by gentle and healing words to soften their pain. May I respect myself. May I always keep tame that which rages within me. May I accustom myself to be gentle, and never be angry with people because of circumstances. May I never discuss who is wicked and what wicked things he has done but know good men and follow in their footsteps.”

Join us for worship on Sunday, May 22nd, in person or Facebook online at 10:00am. Elder, Teddy Perez, will be speaking. His message title is, "Pure Religion," from James 1:27. We will also celebrate Communion as a part of the worship service. - Due to the tension, heartache and uncertainty of the situation we are all facing, the Lord has laid on my heart the need to take us to His Word that guides us in handling conflict and perceived wrongs being committed. A number of you have asked questions about God's instructions in 1 Corinthians 6:1-8. I have gone back into my message archive and pulled a message I preached many years ago on this passage. I will re-preach this message on Sunday. There is no intention of trying to argue a particular position. I only desire to faithfully proclaim the Word of God that is speaking to our present hurts and needs.
