Humani Generis Redemptionem

Towards the end of World War I, Pope Benedict XV issued this encyclical on preaching the Word of God. He acknowledged that there are perhaps more people preaching than ever before, and yet their preaching seems not to have the impact it ought to have. Benedict admonishes and encourages the bishops of the world to rededicate themselves to preaching well in order to edify the faithful.
