The Spiritual Man
Watchman Nee
This is a complete presentation on the workings of the human spirit and soul and body. The book aims at delivering people from the tyranny of self life with its carnality and from the domination of the passions and lusts of the flesh. It attempts to lead them to the full salvation of Christ. It is not to be taken as a manual but as a guide to true spirituality. It is recommended that this three volume work be read quickly through once. Then, lay it aside and wait until the Holy Spirit leads one into a certain stage of spiritual life when knowledge and understanding are needed. Turn, then to the special section of the book dealing with that particular experience for enlightenment. Thus, it will be realized that “in Thy light, shall we see light” (Ps. 36.9 ). May God use this book to help people in their journeying towards the spiritual.

Spiritual Authority
Watchman Nee
Authority is a tremendous thing in the universe, nothing overshadows it. God’s throne is established on His authority. God’s authority represents God Himself. God alone is authority in all things; all the authorities of the earth are instituted by God. It is therefore important for us who desire to serve God to know the authority of God. God’s authority is absolute, hence we must give Him absolute submission ( our heart’s attitude ) and absolute obedience ( our outward actions ). But to His delegated authorities we can render absolute submission, but only relative obedience. For their authorities are circumscribed by the measure of the life of Christ in them. Only when they themselves submit to God’s authority in them are they able to represent God. Hence there is much we have to learn about how to represent God.

The Communion of the Holy Spirit
Watchman Nee
The apostle Paul ends his second letter to the Corinthians with the divine salutation, “The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit, be with you all” (13.14). We as Christians come to know the fullness of the Godhead through the love, the grace and the communion, which proceed from the triune God. It is the love of God the Father that purposes all. It is the grace of God the Son that provides all. And it is the communion of God the Spirit that performs all. Love, grace and communion are all equally essential. What would love be without grace? It would have no expression. What would grace be without communion? It would be unattainable. This present volume is a compilation of messages given by God’s servant Watchman Nee at various times and places. They all relate to the communion of the Holy Spirit.

From Glory to Glory
Watchman Nee
In this present volume Watchman Nee interprets for us what is meant by the phrase, “from glory to glory.” He begins with the name of Jehovah, the glorious name of God, and shows that man’s only sin is falling short of God’s glory. Yet God is so ready to forgive, although His forgiveness must be received by faith. He then cites the case of David and Mephibosheth to illustrate the mercy of God. The author further demonstrates the riches of God’s grace by reviewing with us the salvation which comes through baptism, the food with which God provides His own, and a believer’s value before God. By way of conclusion, He assures us of the love of Christ which is ever available to us and exhorts us to have the mind of Christ, which is indeed from glory to glory.

The Prayer Ministry of the Church
Watchman Nee
“My House shall be called a house of prayer for all peoples” (Isa 56:7). “Whose house are we if indeed we hold fast the boldness and the boast of hope firm to the end” (Heb 2:6, Darby) What is the ministry of the church, the house of God? It is the ministry of prayer, a ministry that is largely neglected by the church today. The church is to pray, “Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so on earth” (Mat 6:9). The church is to pray authoritative prayers which bind and loose that which heaven wills to bind and loose. The church is to pray through and put in execution all that God has purposed and called for in spite of opposition. The church is to use the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ in fulfilling her mission.

Love Not the World
Watchman Nee
In this hard-hitting and controversial book, Watchman Nee states that there is a satanic power behind every worldly thing and that the natural tendency of every worldly system such as politics, education, literature, science, art and music is to move away from God and toward Satan. How can the Christian live and Work in these systems, but not be “of the World”?

Not I But Christ
Watchman Nee
Laying a good foundation is essential for the full growth of a Christian as well as for the building up of the body of Christ. The apostle Paul exhorted young Timothy to “have an outline of sound words which words thou hast heard of me, in faith and love which are in Christ Jesus. Keep by the Holy Spirit which dwells in us, the good deposit entrusted” (2 Tim 1:13-14, Darby’s). Such good deposit of fundamental teachings on practical Christian living forms a sure foundation on which to build. In t...

Aids to "Revelation"
Watchman Nee
As we are quickly approaching the close of this age with the blessed hope in view of the dawning of a new age, even the millennium, it is no surprise that the hearts of God’s children are increasingly drawn to the last book of the Bible, Revelation. Whereas in the past that book was shunned by most as not being understandable; now it is looked upon as a blessed book, just as it is written of it: “Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of the prophecy, and keep the things that are written therein: for the time is at hand” (Rev. 1.3). In the study of Revelation, however, there are certain basic things one must know in order to understand this book. The lack of such fundamental knowledge has kept people in the past from reading it and it still presents a problem to those who are now studying it.

Ye Search the Scriptures
Watchman Nee
The Bible is the inspired word of God. Every child of His must know it by heart. The Bible records the many things God did for us in the past and the many words He spoke. It also registers the many ways by which He led people in former days. It is therefore imperative for us to study the Scriptures if we would desire to know how richly and extensively God has provided for us. The speaking of God to us today is based upon the words He has already spoken; His speaking through us today is also built upon what He has once before uttered. Hence we need to store the word of God richly in our heart before we can hear God’s speaking today and before we can be used as ministers of His word. The aim in our compiling this volume is to supply some prerequisites and principal methods of studying the Scriptures to those who have a heart to know the Bible. May God bless the readers as well as this book.

Whom Shall I Send
Watchman Nee
Does God work alone or does He work with man? Let us see that aside from the work of creation which He performs alone, God always works with man and works in man. If He does not obtain the man He looks for, He will not do the work He plans but will wait until He does obtain His man, and then His work shall be done. Such knowledge reveals the unspeakable love of God towards man, but it also places upon man a tremendous responsibility. Throughout the various chapters of this present volume, Watchman Nee. and his close associate Dr. C. H. Yu (in Chapter 2), present God’s need of man conclusively. Although it is God himself who indeed does the work, nevertheless He will not work without the cooperation of man. He will first work in man and then work through man.

Worship God
Watchman Nee
Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve (Matt. 4.10). This is the principal duty of man. God alone is worthy to be worshipped. But this prerogative of God is fiercely contested in the universe. Satan tries to rob God of His worship, and man is tempted to worship anything other than God himself. The Lord Jesus came into this world to restore worship to God. He declared: “the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and truth: for such doth the Father seek to be his worshippers” (John 4.23). As the redeemed children of God, we now have the privilege of being true worshippers. It is therefore imperative for us to know what worship is and how we should worship. This missing jewel must be recovered in the Church.

God’s Work
Watchman Nee
God has His work. And this work is not your work or mine, nor the work of this mission or that group. It is God’s own work. The church is called to be a co-worker with God. But can we labor with God if we are still ignorant of what His work is? Many today work for God, but who are working with God? In this volume brother Watchman Nee helps us to see what God’s work is, how it must come from revelation and be answered with absolute surrender, what builds up the body of Christ most, and whereby we can minister in life. He also explains the basic ministries of the prophets and the priests in the work of God. And finally, he concludes with a note of warning against committing the iniquity of the sanctuary- which is, the iniquity of our ministry. The messages contained in this little volume are vital to all who desire to work together with God.

Let Us Pray
Watchman Nee
What is prayer? Are we really praying when we pray? Do we know the power of prayer? These matters and others must be understood if we would have a real prayer life and be effective in prayer. In this little volume of collected messages given over a long period of ministry by the author, and which are now translated and published in English for the first time, Watchman Nee shares with us the lessons on prayer that he has learned through the years.

Journeying Towards the Spiritual
Watchman Nee
God’s desire is to commune with man. God being spirit, the man who worships Him must worship in spirit and truth. It is therefore essential for man to be spiritual. This is what the gospel of Jesus Christ is all about. Salvation is the way to spirituality. The original three volume set of The Spiritual Man by Watchman Nee serves as a guide, not as a manual, to walk in spiritual life as well as to fight the spiritual warfare. It was written under tremendous spiritual conflict. Only through the grace of God and the victory of Christ was Watchman Nee able to finish the writing. Now having become a Christian classic, it may be considered as Watchman Nee’s legacy to the Church. Condensed in this new volume, there are 42 lessons to be learned in journeying towards the spiritual. May we be guided by the Spirit of God to heartily learn these necessary lessons all to the glory of God.

The Universal Priesthood of Believers
Watchman Nee
This series of spoken ministry on the overall theme of the priesthood of all believers in Christ was delivered by Watchman Nee in Shanghai, China. They were spoken just prior to his convening on Mt. Kuling, situated near the port city of Foochow, of what became the first of two Training Conferences for brother Nee’s fellow workers, this one held during the late spring and summer of 1948. It is a pity that this Biblical truth of the universal priesthood of Christian believers is not being practiced among most of God’s people today. And hence, these messages are very important, and should be carefully and prayerfully read.

It not only gives us a sequence of coming events, but more so brings us into the spirit of prophecy which is the testimony of Jesus (Rev.19.10). It reveals to us the glory of Jesus Christ. This inspires us to know Him more and to be prepared to meet Him.

Changed into His Likeness
Watchman Nee
Are you ready for real and radical transformation? We all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being changed into his likeness from one degree of glory to another (2 Cor 3:18, RSV). This message comes through loud and clear in the lives of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. While they failed time and again, God was faithful to convict, restore and bless them. And He is able to deal with our slipping and stumbling as well. Watchman Nee uses the lives of the patriarchs to show that God is able to turn our failure into success and our weakness into strength. He does this not so much by transforming the situation as by transforming us. But God’s sufficiency in the face of our failure is seen only as we surrender to Him and are changed into His likeness.

What Shall This Man Do?
Watchman Nee
Are you called to serve, but wondering if you “fit the mold”? Watchman Nee presents an encouraging word: God calls leaders from diverse backgrounds and equips them in a variety of ways for distinctive tasks. Though each of us is called to a unique place of service, our ministries are not in conflict, but complementary. These studies, compiled from Nee’s speaking ministry, draw from the lives of the apostles Peter, Paul and John to illustrate three essential elements of Christian ministry: Peter, the “fisher of men” — leading others in the Way Paul, the teacher of the Word — understanding the Life John, the elder in the church — knowing and walking in the Truth

The Salvation of the Soul
Watchman Nee
The subject before the readers of these pages is one which is commonly overlooked by God’s people. Yet we are definitely told by the Lord this word: “A salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. . . Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls” (1 Peter 1.5,9). As the end draws nearer and nearer, it is incumbent upon Christians to know what the salvation of the soul is.
