Randy & Sandy Wells Sandy is wheelchair-bound after an unsuccessful surgery some time back. She has been in a nursing home, but is being forced to return home since insurance will no longer cover her stay. God miraculously provided an extra week in the nursing home. Please pray that God will help Randy and Sandy find the help they need to keep Sandy in the nursing home. Pray for Randy's health, as the stress and worry of this ordeal weighs heavily on him.

Please give thanks to the Lord for something He has done.

Jeff Higbie, former pastor of Calvary Assembly and Presbyter for the Capital City area network, was previously diagnosed with cancer. The last tests he took indicate that there is NO CANCER in his body!

We are excited to launch this site as Jamestown Assembly of God becomes The Assembly. This name is appropriate as it connects to our identity as an Assemblies of God church. More than that, "Assembly" refers to a group of coming together for a common and united purpose. As a verb, it means to fitting together component parts into a cohesive, functional unit; to put together what has been broken into pieces. Our prayer is that The Assembly will be a place where the broken and disenfranchised will find healing and wholeness in a community of faith.
