Ask to join- Posting with permission... This is not Logos related, but it is quarterly related, for those who have been wanting the quarterlies on either iPad or Android here is a potential solution for you. E-sword is now available for both iPad/iPhone as well as Android systems I do not have a lot of experience with iPad and have only just discovered the android version myself so am unable to answer questions, but I will with the other information post a link to a help site dedicated to e-sword that will be able to help. Here is the link where you can download the apps for each https://www.e-sword.net/ipad/links.htm and here is info about converting them for idevices https://www.e-sword.net/ipad/faq.htm#:~:text=How%20do%20I%20transfer%20my%20user%20files%20to%20a%20new%20device%3F and for android https://www.e-sword.net/android/faq.htm (helpful site for questions about converting, etc http://www.biblesupport.com/topic/11739-news-e-sword-updated-the-module-converter/) and here is a link that has the quarterlies already formated for desktop e-sword so you would only have to convert and import https://steenberg.us/sharpeningthesword/sts-a-2017-xxx_002.htmSS Quarterly Bible Study GuidesSharpening the Sword website provides safe executable files that can be downloaded into your computer when you have installed the free e-Sword Bible study software.steenberg.us
- Dawn, for the SS quarterly on mobile, you can't beat the Sabbath School app. I use it on iOS, both phone and tablet, but I'm sure there is an Android version also. It has the verbatim quarterly texts with live links to the Bible texts in several versions, ability to highlight text and record your notes, includes the EGW supplemental notes, and even includes audio, read by a real person not AI voice. I highly recommend as a stand-alone mobile solution for the SS Quarterly. As far as I know, there is no desktop equivalent. The downside is that there is no integration with other apps such as Bible readers. That is what I like about Logos; When reading a text, I can see an icon for a note I made in a previous study, open it and review the note. In Sabbath School app, you would have to be in the particular lesson to see your note. Also I don't know how long your notes last. In Logos I am still seeing Notes I put in decades ago.
- I have uploaded a PDF of the SS quarterly written by Jon Paulien from 2004 for any who like to read it along with this quarter's lesson. https://amber-embed.faithlife.com/shares/kJiSRAZ5itDKcg7lThe Gospel of John SS20040101-01Check out The Gospel of John SS20040101-01.amber-embed.faithlife.com
- Great idea, I have PM'd Pastor Paulien to see if he may still have his orig files that he would be willing to let us use...
- Here is a link that has the lessons in "native" pdf format. I am trying to get the files converted, but I only have limited software and am having issues getting useable files, maybe someone else with more experience can do better, https://www.adultbiblestudyguide.org/archives#lessons have to scroll down for 2004.
- I apologize to everyone, as this morning, when I was creating my quarterly book, I found 3 errors in the page milestones, that I thought were fixed. Somehow, they were not. Therefore, I have replaced the file with a corrected one. If dates are something you make use of, please re-download the file and update your book. (Generally, just replace the .docx file with the new one, and then do a re-build of the book. Most of the time it works fine and then everything is correct. On occasion it will fail to remove the old version and give you an error message. In that case, you will have to try first leaving Logos and coming back and try building again. If still errors, then you have to delete the old book and start over.)
- No problem. Thank you for your work!
- Thank you very much
- Thank you very much
- Thank you very much for all you do for these.
- Thank you, it is such a blessing to have this resource in Logos.
