Text to give: Can we get 5-digit codes versus a 10-digit phone number?
With Faithlife, your church can have a dedicated phone number that works both for text to give and for any SMS communications you send out. Faithlife Giving does not support 5-digit codes for text to give at this time.

How can givers set up recurring gifts so they don’t have to reenter their information every time?
Faithlife Giving provides a quick and easy way to set recurring gifts. After your givers have entered an amount and clicked Next, they will see a checkbox to Make this gift recurring. Checking this box brings up options to select the gift’s first day and frequency. Givers can set their recurring gifts to automatically debit their credit card or bank account every week, every 2 weeks, every month, every quarter, or every year. If your givers want to adjust their giving amounts or frequency at a later time, however, they’ll need to create an account or contact an Admin of your Finance team.
Learn moreI used my email address when setting up our group, but I don’t want it to be shown on our receipts. How do I change it?
You can quickly update the email address listed on your church’s receipts through the Stewardship Portal under Giving Features. From your Finance Team, expand the Giving Configuration option, and click Giving Features. At the bottom of the Communications section, you’ll find the option to edit the contact email displayed on receipts.
Learn moreCan I invite others to my Finance Team and then remove myself from it?
Even if you’re the one who set up your church group, you don’t have to be a member of the Finance Team. Once you have other Admins added to the team, you can easily remove yourself from it. All it takes is a few clicks. Start by opening your Finance Team from the Teams toolbar. Next, click Members. Finally, check the box next to your name, click the Admin dropdown, and click Remove from group. You also have the option of changing yourself from an Admin to a Member.

Learn moreHow do I publish Giving to my site or a Faithlife site?
If you built your church website using Faithlife Sites, a draft Give page is automatically added to your website. Select the settings icon to view the page’s settings. Expand the Page Status dropdown, and change it to Published. Make sure to click Publish changes. Once the page is live, donors can navigate to this page to access the embedding giving form.

Do givers have to have an account to give?
Anyone can give to your church, even if they don’t have a Faithlife account (though they’ll need an account if they want to view their giving history online). Faithlife Giving allows you to track all gifts made to your church, whether that’s through text to give, by cash, or by check.
Learn moreDoes Faithlife Giving provide giving statements (tax statements)?
At the end of the year, Faithlife Giving will automatically email givers a donor tax statement with the year-end donation amount. In addition to the automated messages, however, you can also download or print year-end giving statements for any giver.

How can we overlay video in Proclaim presentations?
Using Proclaim and OBS (free livestreaming software available here), you can overlay slides and your video feed. Configure OBS to use your camera, then have it capture Proclaim’s output. Hit Record, and run through the sermon and slides. In the end, you’ll have a video file that you can post.
