    How can I create a visual filter for a hapax? I also have Burer's New Reader’s Lexicon which shows 5 or less uses. I'd be able to use that as a last resort.

    I created a Visual Filter I want to share with a student. In Logos, I clicked on the filter name, clicked Share and made it public, and it created this link: https://flshare.net/c32bg4 That goes to a page saying document is not supported on web and asks to download desktop version. I don't see any link to download what I shared. Googling, one place says the person should be able to join this group and see the filter I shared, but I don't see it here anywhere. Another suggestion was: Export for Manual Use: If you want to give someone the filter without using the community, you can export it as a .logos file and send it to them. They can then import it into their own Logos account. But I cannot find that file. Any suggestions? Thanks.

        Hi, I am learning how to use the visual filters and when I use this: morph.h:P It works most of the time and highlights just the preposition but sometimes it highlights the entire word such as in Gen 1:1 where the first word starts with a preposition, it highlights the entire word and not just the preposition but on the last word of verse 6, it correctly highlights only the preposition. Am I doing something wrong?

          No, you are not doing anything wrong, your filter is working correctly. There are 3 ways prepositions appear in the text. Independent, Maqqef, and Inseparable. In Gen 1:1, "in the beginning" (barashiyt) is inseparable, so the prep is part of the actual word. In Gen 1:2, "on the face" (al-paney) is connected by a maqqef, so that prep can be distinguished. And any prep appearing just by itself is called Independent and is highlighted. The three inseperable preps are: Bet (ב): indicates “in,” “on,” or “by” (e.g., בְּתוֹךְ - betokh, “in the midst of”) Kaf (כ): indicates “like” or “as” (e.g., כְּמוֹ - kemo, “like”) Lamed (ל): indicates “to” or “for” (e.g., לְפָנִים - lifanayim, “before”) For more info see: (https://www.blueletterbible.org/resources/grammars/hebrew/simplified-hebrew/inseparable-prepositions.cfm)

        Is there a visual filters that separates nouns and verbs already out there?

          I'm not sure how you'd do that honestly. I don't think English words are tagged quite the same way, especially for morph searches and filters. Maybe someone would have an idea.

          If you apply a morph filter to a tagged English version (e.g. ESV) then the corresponding English gloss will show the filter highlights. Actually, this can be a Bible or Morph filter. Set the search to "All Bible Text" in "All Passages" in Bible" for ... Set the criteria to "morph.h:V" and another to "morph.h:N". Set the filter effect to what ever highlighting you desire. This will highlight all the glosses that have an underlying verb or noun. I put in a picture of the filter and the output that I get from the ESV and from the LHB. Remember, the English version will need to be tagged. Now, I have a lot of features and whatnot so this works for me - not sure how much mileage you might get.

          Hi Phil Gons (Logos), I am talking about the Visual Filters that allow you to highlight words based on the underlying Hebrew/Greek wood. My Android phone (one of the latest Samsung models) doesn't display them, so I am planning to get a new device soon, and I'd like to know if I should get an Android Tablet, an iPhone, or even an iPad, as long as I can see the filters when reading it from that new device. Look at the attachment please. Thank you.

          Got it. Thanks for clarifying, Percy Vega. Those are what we refer to as visual filter documents, which are a kind of savable/customizable search results. We don't support visual filter documents on any platforms for desktop (Windows and MacOS) yet, but we'd like to bring them to web and mobile (iOS and Android).

        I have two related issues with visual filters. 1) From what I can tell, all the palettes are open when applying visual filters. That is there is no drop-down function as there is when using the palettes to highlight. 2) It is impossible to prioritize palettes above the built-in palettes by renaming them. If I'm right, I have to scroll down past the four built-in palettes, which are all open, to get to a palette I want. Is there any way around this?

              As far as I'm aware, visual filters aren't available on mobile at all.
