Proclaim

Hi, I've just started using Proclaim as a trial for our church services, where we use in house projection but also stream via Vmix to Youtube. We have been using Easyworship and using NDI have been able to project lyrics as lower thirds on the stream over a camera shot. I can see that on Proclaim it is quite easy for me to have separate displays for lyrics using the virtual screen option. Virtual Screen: Livestream (Alternate Content) Outputs: (custom output) using NDI - Livestream However, when projecting to the Vmix computer the NDI only projects as a black screen without any lyrics. On my Proclaim computer I can see the lyrics. Any ideas why I have a black screen on the vmix computer?

I had that same issue. What I needed to do first was update Windows to the most recent build. Then have both the VMIX pc and the Proclaim pc physically connected to the same ethernet router that supplies our internet connection. Make sure wifi is turned off on both PCs and disable the firewall that prevents local PCs on the same network from communicating. After this everything works great.

Thankyou for the above comments. I have updated most recent build (thanks) and have installed Proclaim on the Livestream computer. I have followed all of your steps

and as far as I am aware there isn't a firewall blocking the app. What is most bizarre is that I can see the other screen outputs on the livestream computer but just not the one I have made specifically for lower third lyrics. Any other suggestions?

, You may have to down “vMix Desktop Capture for NDI” on both PCs and have it running in the background.
