Hi, so we are new to proclaim and we are experiencing a glitch in the playback of our background graphics. We are using a Windows 10 desktop with a GTX 1070 GPU and 16gb RAM. Everything seems to be running great. However, while going through a song with a looping video background the background will randomly freeze for a few seconds and start to play again on a different part of the video. The same glitch happens when you switch from preview to edit while the video background is On Air. I tried using my MacBook with the same project and it doesn't have this issue. Has anyone else experienced this?
- Hi Ebenezer, Sorry to hear you're having that behavior. We get reports from Windows computers and video playback that is usually related to an update so I'm wondering if that is happening here. Could you make sure your up to date with your version of Windows 10, I believe that would be Windows 10 20H2. What I think is most likely the culprit is an update for Windows Media player which you would need to do separately from your operating system: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/windows-media-player-12-e8f84f54-cd64-865c-2e83-1d8ec121b5b8 Lastly you can also make sure your version of Proclaim is up to date: https://support.faithlife.com/hc/en-us/articles/360007128092-How-Do-I-Update-my-Proclaim-Software-Manually- Let us know if your still having issues after the updates and we can further troubleshoot.
- Hi Sean, I tried updating all drivers and updates (windows media player, windows 10) with no success. We are also having trouble with some of our video background flashing to black during our songs. I have deduced that the videos flash to black more frequently with higher quality videos (4k and 1080p). Do we need to install the Quicktime player, not sure that would even do anything lol
