I am demoing proclaim and was astonished to find that it does not have access to old standard hymns like How Great Thou Art, etc. This kind of defeats the purpose of using it to speed song entry. I was wondering if there was a user repository that would accessible to auto import all these old, public domain, standards. I mean we use some new that require CCI but we have a mix of old time gospel as well.
I think this is a real missing feature since it would not cost Proclaim any fees to put these in the database. Yes, they are searchable here but not from within Proclaim.
- Hello, Gentlemen -- "How Great Thou Art" does seem to be an anomaly of sorts -- it's been around for quite a while, but has a recent copyright and is not yet considered Public Domain. Jefferis Peterson -- You should be able to get "How Great" through CCLI. Please let us know if you have further difficulty getting to the other Public Domain resources.
- Jefferis Peterson 2 hours ago Mike Binks We have the CCLI license. Is that sufficient? No Jeff you have to add Song Select to your account.
- Hello, All -- Good catch, Mike Binks, and a proper distinction to make. To pull lyrics into Proclaim from CCLI, SongSelect is the service/subscription. See the link below for how to connect your Proclaim with SongSelect. A SongSelect account may be set up at SongSelect.ccli.com or at 800-234-2446 weekdays from 7am to 4pm PT. https://support.faithlife.com/hc/en-us/articles/360007128252-How-Do-I-Link-My-SongSelect-Account-
