Lighthouse Church

Proclaim

Hi team, question = we've jumped into using video sermons (pre-recorded) but projected live. When using proclaim the video and audio are out of sync, even though the video file has the audio and video 100% correct. Is there a delay in audio or video that proclaim has that we need to compensate for in our post-production?

I think an audio delay on the mixer does not sound odd. My own church does this, as the video tends to have more lag going through various converters than the audio. And Like

says, if it sounds good in Proclaim than I think adding the delay at the mixer is the best option! I included this video here, that I have used to help diagnose these issues. Twitch made this and it make identifying the audio delay super easy

Thanks guys. We found that exact same video this morning. Turns out our two campuses need totally different "delays" to ensure the videos are synced correctly!
