Dear Church Family, I received some bad news this morning. Marian Rexus, some of you knew her as the Quilt lady from Spring City, passed away yesterday from Covid, pneumonia and acute renal failure. She was vaccinated. I just spoke to her 2 weeks ago and she said she had a doctors appointment just for a check up. Alison, her daughter, took her to the appointment and Marian hadn't been out of the house for 2 weeks and she wanted to go to Wal-Mart. Three days later she came down with Covid, 7 days later she was admitted to the hospital, 2 days later Jesus called her home. Marian had a fierce love for the Gospel and would share that good news to anyone. Marian loved to help people, and she has graced many beds and homes with her quilts. She had a wonderful sense of humor, a big boisterous laugh that would light up a room. She had great wisdom about life, love, and Jesus and she shared it openly. She is now with her late husband, and Andrea her daughter who passed away from Covid last year. Marian passed 1 day shy of Andreas one year anniversary. Best of all she is with Jesus♥️♥️Please keep Alison and her family in prayer as they grieve the loss of this matriarch of a women. I will miss her😥
