This is probably a long shot, but is there a way to set up an alternate screen so that it would then show slide content (such as lower thirds) as well as my camera input in our vestibule?
- I stream using SlingStudio and use hdmi output from SlingStudio Hub for our vestibule screens.
- The specific answer is yes. If you set your alternate screen to a lower thirds setup in the song arrangement and then select a camera feed in the Video input settings, Then when the show is active that can be routed to your vestibule displays.
- Hi Levi, we do this every week t my church. We have a two computer setup. One runs Proclaim and the other streams using OBS. The cameras and the regular slides go directly into our Blackmagic switcher and then into the streaming computer from there. We also have a separate feed via NDI for the lower thirds. (We tried HDMI and used a chroma key in OBS for a little while, but it left a little outline around things and would show the chroma key during some slide transitions.) Our lobby screen is connected directly to the streaming computer via HDMI. On OBS the slide operator simply right-clicks on the preview they see and, in the context menu that pops up, selects full-screen preview, and the selects the correct screen to display that on. I hope that helps!
