Hi there, we're having trouble uploading video files to our Proclaim set. It's giving us the error "Failure opening file for upload." I've updated our Mac OS software, VLC media player software, and signed out and back in. Still not able to add a video to the set. I've tried dragging and dropping as well as the "Import Media" function. Both give me the same area. Please could you assist ASAP? I've clicked "Submit log files" but I don't know how to upload them here. Thank you, Cyan.
- Hi Cyan, thanks for the report. We got your logs just fine. I took a look and it looks like you're trying to upload a WMV. Like Shara mentioned, you'll probably have better luck uploading an mp4 or mov, as they are better supported on Mac. Sorry for the inconvenience here. We'll think about some ways we can either fix the issue or improve the warnings so people know what's going on if this happens.
- Hi Brandon, thank you, I will try changing the video format, but we've been uploading the same videos without a problem all along, it's only now giving an error. Will try and then get back to you.
