- Jack Maroon, I assume this means you want to find every verse in the Bible where a person is being joyful, is that right? I can't think of a way to generate a list of people, but there are a few ways to find verses where someone is rejoicing. You could start with a Bible search for this: sense:"to rejoice (expression)" OR sense:"to rejoice (feeling)" OR sense:"to rejoice together" https://ref.ly/logos4/Search?kind=BibleSearch&q=sense%3a%22to+rejoice+(expression)%22+OR+sense%3a%22to+rejoice+(feeling)%22+OR+sense%3a%22to+rejoice+together%22&syntax=v2&documentlevel=verse&match=stem&in=raw%3aSingle%7cResourceId%3dLLS%3aNIV2011&viewkind=passages You'll need to work through the results to see who is doing the rejoicing, but this gives you a good starting point. If you run the search in your Bible as an inline search, you could use the Factbook visual filter to more easily identify the subject of the rejoicing. The Bible Browser sidebar is one possible way to generate a list of people includes in verses where someone is rejoicing, but there are two things that make it not quite what you're looking for: (1) You can find only one sense at a time. You can't stack multiple senses like you can in search. You need to do each sense separately. (2) The people who occur in the verses may not be the ones doing the rejoicing. You'd have to check each verse to verify. https://ref.ly/logos4/BibleBrowser?res=LLS%3aNIV2011&context=Verse&facets=CategoryId%3dSense%5e1%7cCategoryTitle%3dSenses%7cTermId%3dws.rejoice.v.02%7cTermTitle%3dto%2520rejoice%2520(expression) Disclaimer: These aren't all the sense for joy/rejoicing. You may also want to include those if you want your list to be exhaustive.
