Sermon: Hearing God’s Call
Scripture: Genesis 12: 1-4
There are 4 Aspects for Hearing God’s calling:
1. UNDERSTAND (Whatever God calls you to do):
Abraham understood God’s calling to leave his father’s house. We must discern and
understand God’s voice above the noise.
2. OBEY God’s Calling:
Abraham Trusted and Obeyed God. Abraham Responded Immediately by stepping out on faith, we must follow his example.
3. TRUST God’s Calling:
Abraham trusted God’s promises, provision, and protection. We must trust God’s promises, provision, and protection.
4. COURAGE to follow God’s Calling:
At age 75, Abraham had courage to follow God. We must have courage to follow God and to leave our comfort zone.
Let’s strive to hear God’s voice and calling. If you don’t go when God tells you to go, you are blocking blessings for yourself and others. God is equipping us for the journey ahead.
