MacOS Sonoma 14 on mac mini m2 using Black Magic Decklink Duo card: Within the last few weeks, our SDI input stopped working in Proclaim. The "Video Input" setting was grayed out in Proclaim, although the Black Magic video display software saw the input as working. The only thing that had changed is that we updated the mac mini with the latest MacOS update. After days of debugging, I found a solution from Apple: https://support.apple.com/en-jo/108387 After performing the steps detailed in the article, Proclaim again recognized my SDI input again. Just wanted to share this information here, as others might hit a similar issue. In general, it's best not to update to a newer version of MacOS right away. Let someone else find and fix any issues! :-)
If you can't use your camera or video output device after updating to macOS Sonoma 14.1 - Apple Support (JO)
Starting in macOS Sonoma 14.1, cameras and video output devices that don't use modern system extensions won't be available to use unless you restore the legacy settings.
